Plummer, Williams H.PLUMMER
William H. “Bill” Plummer, Sr. of San Marcos, Texas, longtime former resident of Lubbock and Freeport, Texas (20 years), and Comanche, Texas (14 years), passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at the age of 87.

He was born March 20, 1924, in Alvarado, Texas, to Will and Fannie Ella (Bean) Plummer. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. His wife, Frances Wilson Plummer (1976), daughter, Margaret Plummer and two brothers, Marshall Plummer and Bob Plummer preceded him in death.

He is survived by two sons, Bill Plummer of San Marcos and David Plummer of Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Barbara Plummer of San Marcos and Beverly Plummer of Del Ray, California.

Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2012, in the Pennington Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Schlimgen officiating. Mr. Plummer will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock, Texas.
