Truman Marwitz of Priddy, Texas passed away on December 18, 2018 in Comanche at the age of 89. He was born on March 17, 1929 in Hamilton County to Walter J. and Dora Nauert Marwitz. He was married to Willidean “Deanie” Witzcher on October 29, 1949 in Priddy. He was a member of the Zion Luthean in Priddy.

He was the owner of Distributing Company and served in Army-Korean Conflict. Pallbearers were Stanton Marwitz, Kristi Sandoval, Ryan Marwitz, Brady Tyson, Jacob Marwitz, Craig Hopper, Gaylon Marwitz and Michael Hopper. Honorary Pallbearers were Martin Seider, Habert Hopper, Lohman Feist, Ricky Carr and Victor Walthers. Pastor Mark Schimmel officiated.

Visitation is Thursday 6:00 PM—8:00 PM at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home. Service is Friday December 21, 2018 at 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Priddy. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Priddy, Texas.

He is survived by his wife Deanie Marwitz of Priddy, his daughter and her spouse Karen Tyson Anthony Newburg, his daughter in law Cindy Marwitz of Comanche, his grandchildren Kristi Sandoval, Stanton Marwitz, Ryan Marwitz, Jacob Marwitz and Brady Tyson and fourteen great grandchildren. His sister and her spouse Anita Hopper and W.J. of Priddy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Walter J. Marwitz & Dora Nauert Marwitz, his son; Danny Marwitz in 2013, his great granddaughter; Taylee Sandoval and his sister; Shirley Zoch.
