February 23 has scheduled Western Artist Doug Prine, well-known artist in our area. He has been a demonstrator for us for many years. He not only is an accomplished artist, but he has worked as an actor, cowhand, historic re-enactor, and participated in rodeos. He served in Vietnam as a combat artist and continued as a government illustrator for several years after completing his service. His stories are interesting and varied. His work has sold globally. We know you will enjoy his demonstration. He usually has a drawing at the end of the meeting and a lucky person receives the artwork he has just completed.

Please join us Tuesday, February 23, at 6:00 p.m. at the Public Housing Authority Lindsey Building, 404 E. Cedar St. across from Oakwood Cemetery.

Refreshments are served at 6:00 followed by a brief meeting and the art demonstration. Admission is free to the public, but we welcome you to join our club. The dues are $20 for the year. You don’t have to be an artist to be a member—just to appreciate and enjoy art and want to be a part of the arts here in Comanche!
