The City of Comanche Police Department will be hosting the National Night Out celebration this Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the city park. There will be tons of family-friendly activities, free food and booths.

The activities will include, rock painting, pumpkin painting, scavenger hunt, and craft projects for the kids. Other activities will include a cake walk, puppet show, dunking booth, face painting, horseshoes, hook and loop, Drunk Buster obstacle course and bounce house. There will be a fire truck display and special appearances by mascots; Cell Phone Sally, Smokey Bear, Sparky and Judge Roy Green. There will be a movie for all families at 7:30 p.m.

The nonprofit organizations that will be present are the Chamber of Commerce, Accell Health, ARK, Center for Life Resources, A Few Crazy Ladies, Cornerstone CAA, Comanche County Medical Center, Department of Family Protective Services, Early Childhood Center, Embrace Grace, Gateway of Hope, Live Oak Church, Next Step Ministries, Ultimate Gift of Life, Veteran's Services, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and West Texas Council of Government Homeland Security.
