Due to the importance of agriculture in the county the majority of the educational programs offered by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension service are agriculture based. However, for those of you who are interested in keeping your yard and landscape looking good we do have an excellent program coming up for you. The Yard and Landscape Program will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 10:00 until 2:00 at the Deleon City Auditorium.

We are fortunate to have the best specialist available in the fields they will be discussing. Dr. Becky Grubbs, Extension Turfgrass Specialist will be discussing lawn and turfgrass management. Ms. Kate Whitney Horticulture Agent in Williamson County will be talking about how to use EarthKind/Texas Superstar landscaping in your home yard. Mrs. Renee Burks from the Texas Forest Service will be talking about managing trees in your yard and oak wilt management.

We will have lunch sponsored by our great local sponsors. We will be offering 3 CEU’s at the program.
