The total number of county residents that have been tested now reaches 6,448 as of December 1. There have been 760 county residents that have tested positive since late March of 2020 and there have been 9 deaths. Also, 43 people have been hospitalized since March 2020, relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. County health officials are waiting on 132 pending COVID-19 test results.

Erath County 1,339 cases and 20 deaths, Brown County 921 cases and 32 deaths, Eastland County 369 cases and 9 deaths, Hamilton County 296 cases and 7 deaths and Mills County 145 cases and 4 deaths.
All the surrounding counties have seen a significant rise in COVID cases and two countries saw a rise in deaths. Erath added 88 cases and 1 death, Brown 36 cases and 2 deaths, Eastland 31 more cases and no deaths, Hamilton 18 cases and no deaths and Mills added 16 cases in a week and no deaths.
