    May 15, 2020, 12:30 p.m. COMANCHE COUNTY, TEXAS- Comanche County Judge Stephanie L. Davis and Local Public Health Authorities, Dr. Paul Livingston and Dr. Dwayne Miller, are reporting the sixth positive test result for COVID-19 in Comanche County, Texas. The resident had traveled outside of Comanche County and has been in quarantine since returning to Comanche County and being tested.

    May 16, 2020, 12:00 p.m. COMANCHE COUNTY, TEXAS- Comanche County, the City of Comanche, and Local Public Health Authorities Dr. Paul Livingston and Dr. Dwayne Miller, are reporting the seventh positive test result for COVID-19 in Comanche County, Texas. The individual is a resident of the City of Comanche and preliminary investigation is indicating this individual contracted COVID-19 outside of Comanche County. The individual has been in quarantine since being tested.

    May 16, 2020, 5:45 p.m.. COMANCHE COUNTY, TEXAS- Comanche County, the City of Gustine, and Local Public Health Authorities Dr. Paul Livingston and Dr. Dwayne Miller, are reporting an eighth positive test result for COVID-19 in Comanche County, Texas. The individual is a resident of the City of Gustine and tracing investigation is indicating this individual contracted COVID-19 from the same source outside of Comanche County as the seventh positive case released earlier today. The individual has been in quarantine since being tested and the Comanche County Public Health Authorities are working in conjunction with other out-of-county health authorities and officials to trace the extent of this outbreak.

    Comanche County has reported 8 positive cases since March 28, 2020, with 4 of those 8 being active at the time of this release.

    Contact the CCMC COVID-19 Tele-Screening Hotline at 254-879-4999 if you have:

1. Fever, cough, shortness of breath or other respiratory symptoms; and

2. Traveled within the past 30 days; or have known exposure to someone diagnosed with or currently being tested for COVID-19 (coronavirus).

    The Texas National Guard Mobile Testing unit was in Comanche County for a second round of testing on May 16, 2020. Fifty-five individuals were tested through the mobile unit.

    There are other COVID-19 testing options available in Comanche County. Residents should contact their Primary Care Physicians, Comanche County Medical Center, or AccelHealth for options.
