National Quilting Day

SUBMITTED BY DIANNA MAYFIELD: Over the years I have made many quilts but this king size Texas Quilt is one of my favorites. Several years ago I made three of these quilts, one for my son in law, daughter in law, and one to keep. Each one is the same but different in that fabric placements are different in each one. If you look closely you can see Route 66 in the panhandle, Arlington and Dallas, Houston, and the Alamo at San Antonio. Although these placements are not exact they are close and in the general vicinity. Each square is a different Western fabric.
