The City of Comanche reports a sales tax rebate decrease for the month. The net payment for is $74,635.69, down 0.86% compared to the payment the prior year of $75,285.28. The year to date payment for the month is $764,689.60 compared to $680,629.54, a 12.35% increase.

The Central Texas Scholarship Pageant will be October 16 at the Comanche High School. The age divisions for this new pageant are Teenie Miss 1 to 3 year old, Tiny Miss 4 to 6 years old, Little Miss 7 to 9 years old Pre-Teen 10 to 12 years old, Teen 13 to 15 years old and Miss 16 to 18 years old.

According to data from Comanche County officials the total active cases of Covid-19 is at 99 as of September 20, 2021. There has been a total of 2,297 positive Covid cases, 67 Covid related deaths, and 179 hospitalizations since March of 2020.
