Rest-a-Spell Hospitality House is the vision of three ladies who thought it would be great fun to turn a Century Old home into a comfortable, laid-back home away from home. Ruth Goodson and Sharon McKinnon have been lifelong friends and grew up in Comanche... riding their bikes all over town as young girls. (You’ll have to ask them about all the mischief they got themselves in to ‘back in the day.’) Avis Wukasch has been a dear friend in Georgetown and got to Comanche as quick as she could! (You’ll have to ask them what kind of mischief they get themselves into NOW!) So, when they had the opportunity to purchase the home, they went straight to work putting their own personal touches on the home and are now thrilled to share it with those visiting Comanche. The house was built in 1900 and has been well maintained throughout the generations. It features 3 bedrooms- each with their own private bath, a spacious and fully-equipped kitchen, large living area, dining room and a small sitting room (a perfect spot to curl up with your favorite book). Guests will find the wrap-around porch a relaxing spot for coffee, tea or maybe even hot chocolate. You may rent the entire house or each individual bedroom. The shared spaces include the kitchen, living room, dining room, sitting room and porches.
