The Gustine Mayor came home on Tuesday, September 8 to a parade in Gustine in his honor. Ken Huey, the Mayor of Gustine has battled COVID-19 and other conditions for the past two months.

Gustine has rallied for two months while Ken has had ups and downs medically and has been transferred to numerous medical facilities. Local businesses hosted a money tree/ fund for the Huey Family. Also a card was signed by residents at the Texaco station in Gustine, Texas.

A Gustine resident stated “today the town gets to have our mayor back!”
