The Comanche Mercantile prides itself with the display of area artisans. Arrow Enterprises, a creation of Clay Montgomery over Brown County way, creates wonderful metal items in his blacksmith shop. Clay was always fascinated with how our ancestors did things. He started his working career as a mechanic and loved working with his hands. In 2014, he and his wife opened Arrow M. Enterprises. In 2016, Clay built his first forge and the journey began. He brings to Comanche Mercantile metal gripling tools, cheese slicers, bottle openers, gardening tools, and other metal items per customer request. Most metal tools have bone or antler handles. Just touching a Clay Montgomery creation makes one reflect on history and the concept of quality hand made. The Mercantile is proud to feature the physical evidence of Clay Montgomery’s passion.

The Comanche Mercantile is always looking for new talent. Please contact Revitalize Comanche for more information!
