Comanche Community Center already nearly packed early Wednesday morning for the annual Comanche County Dairy Breakfast: Last year Comanche County Dairy Producers and their families served a total of 648 plates which included over 50 children plus their teachers from Comanche summer school. That acquainted to 200 white and 500 chocolate milks, 1000 scrambled eggs together with 21 pounds of cheese, 1,200 biscuits and 1,200 sausage patties. 16 pounds of butter, 500 vanilla ice cream cups 440 strawberry yogurts, 40 cantaloupes, 18 pounds of strawberries,12 pints of blueberries and 8 large cans of whipping cream.

Many community folks volunteered their time to help with this year’s breakfast and that made this event run very smooth including 4-H and FFA youth, extension staff and other ag business owners and their employees.
