On the Morning of December 29, 2020 a residence was burglarized in the 600 block of Lockney in De Leon TX. Several firearms including a Ruger AR-15 and a 9mm Makarov Pistol were stolen from the residence.

A fatal car accident occurred Monday evening, January 11, 2021 just west of Gustine, Texas on State Highway 36. The two vehicles involved were a Chevrolet Suburban and an 18-wheeler. Sadly, an occupant in the Suburban lost their life in the accident.
