The Comanche County Car Club met on Tuesday at Cook’s Fish Barn with newly elected officers at the helm. President is Eddy Parker. Eddy is the Auto Tech and Robotics teacher at Comanche ISD. Vice President is Mike Carey and Secretary is Kay Zimmerman Carey. They own Hot Rod Ranch in Sidney. Treasurer is Garry Davis. Garry is a retired dairyman from Comanche County.
The club meets (almost) every second Tuesday at Cook’s Fish Barn for a chicken and fish meal for $9 per person at 7 pm, with a meeting to follow at 7:30 pm. The Comanche County Tractor Club also meets at this location every other month.
Membership in the Comanche County Car Club is $5 for individuals and $10 for a family each year. The Comanche County Car Club host the Comanche County Classic Car Show held every year at the Comanche County Pow-Wow, along with several car cruises throughout the year.
