From the Comanche Chamber of Commerce

It’s with a heavy heart that the Comanche Chamber of Commerce must inform you that all “Explore Comanche Christmas” events have been cancelled for 2020. After meeting with City officials, city council, our board of directors, and with the lack of current city policy, due to the ever changing COVID-19 guidelines handed down from the State of Texas, the Chamber does not feel comfortable hosting these events with regards to the health safety of our residents. We are deeply saddened that the Lighted Christmas Parade, Jingle Mingle, Tour of Homes, pictures with Santa, and Holiday Mixer will all be cancelled for this year. We are however pressing forward with community engagement through our window decorating contest and home decorating contest for the holidays. We encourage Merchants in town to decorate their windows and homeowners to light up their homes and yards in the holiday spirit. Prizes for 1st – 3rd will be awarded in both categories.

We want to wish you all a safe and happy holiday, and cannot wait to see what 2021 has to offer! We look forward to hopefully hosting events for our community and continuing our work to drive tourism to the city in 2021.
