It’s that time already!! This will be our 7th year to Light Up Comanche County! We strive every year to improve and make our show just a little bit better, a little bit brighter and a whole lot of fun! Every year we face not only improving our show but replacing and repairing those items that need it.
This last year we experienced some storms and wind that took a toll on some of the elements of the show. This year you will notice that the trees on the front lawn are new and we have incorporated some different sizes. We need to shout out to Blanket High School Ag dept. , they made these for us! The spiral trees also have been rebuilt. We have added another 10,000 lights to our show, which puts us over 100,000 lights! The Whoville tree got a needed face lift. You will notice a little more sparkle, and the meteor lights will be back on the tree by the carriage. We have also picked up 2 new reindeer for the carriage! The tree on the north side will have smart pixels this year. This year you will find a lot of photo opportunities! We have a mailbox to Santa on the north side and if your child writes to Santa and gives us a return address they will in return receive a note from our elves!
Our show will Light Up Saturday November 30th, festivities start at 6pm, and the lights will come on at 6:30pm. We will have the Comanche Fire Dept. with us as well as Smokey Bear. We will have a s’mores area as well as cookies and hot chocolate. The Grinch will also be making an appearance! You don’t want to miss this!
Our lights will run Monday through Thursday 5:30 pm - 10:30 pm and Friday –Sunday 5:30 pm-11:30 pm!
This show would not be possible without our donors, those who give money as well as those who give of their time. Thank you for your continued support, we could not do it without you!! Hope to see you all on November 30th at 6pm!
Merry Christmas and lets…Light Up!
