This is a reminder that if your application for a ballot by mail expired December 31, 2020 and you required to submit a new application for a ballot by mail. Contact the Comanche County Clerk’s Office for an application to vote by mail at 325-356-2655 or firstname.lastname@example.org. An application may also be retrieved from the Comanche County web page at www.co.comanche.tx.us or www.sos.texas.gov/elections/voter/reqabbm.shtml.
To be eligible to vote by mail you must be at least 65 years of age, disabled or expect to be absent from the county on election day and during the period of early voting in person. Applicants age 65 or older or disabled are the only applicants eligible to request an annual application for a ballot. If you are out of the county you have to request an application for each election this year. The application for a ballot by mail must be received by the County Clerk by April 20, 2021
The City of Comanche, Comanche ISD, the City of Gustine, the City of DeLeon and DeLeon ISD will be holding elections May 1, 2021.
Uniform election days for 2021 are May 1, 2021 and November 2, 2021. Schools, Cities and other political subdivisions will be holding elections on May 1, 2021. On November 2, 2021 there will be an election to approve or reject Texas Constitutional Amendments.
April 1, 2021 is the last day you may register to vote If you are not already a registered voter in Comanche County. You must be registered by April 1, 2021 to be eligible to vote in the May 1, 2021 elections. You may register at VoteTexas.Gov or call 325-356-3101.

For the City of Comanche elections there are two at large councilmember seats with three candidates running. They are Esmeralda Cumba, Richard Niblett and Shane Stalnacker. Also there are two candidates running for mayor; incumbent, Mary Boyd and Mike Winslett.
For the Comanche ISD Board of Trustees school board; Mike Furlong is running unopposed and incumbent Kay Hagood is running against Hank La Rowe.
