The property on 802 West Central Avenue was sold last month. On this property sat a movable building that housed weekly domino games for a few friends. And the property was also used to display farm equipment and other items that were for sale. The new owner has been hard at work clearing out tress and other debris on the lot.

A little down the highway from 802 W. Central there has been some new construction at the Brookshire’s Grocery Store. The dollar store that was once used on the same lot has been vacated for a while. And the Brookshire Grocery Company acquired the building a few years ago and now are in the process of some new construction work on the entire lot. A drive-through pharmacy may be in the works providing a convenience to shoppers.

Moving east done Central Avenue the old Comanche Tire building has gone through a major face lift. As the new owner Mark Bogart , owner of MB Ranch King could be putting in a sporting goods hunting store featuring the MB Ranch King products.

Moving further east down the highway from the old Comanche Tire building the Allsup’s convenient store is going through more construction as well around the gas pumps.

Then a little further down next to the Willis Towing office, a new metal frame building is being constructed on the lot which will be a new office.

Lots of new construction being done on the busy street of Central Avenue on Highway 377 in Comanche, TX. Which is not a bad thing for Comanche!
