Comanche County has set aside a portion of its American Relief Funding and is opening a grant program for non-profit organizations that serve residents of Comanche County, Texas. This funding is assistance to non-profit organizations and responds to the negative economic impacts of the COVID-19 public health emergency. To be eligible for a grant from Comanche County, applicants must be a 501c3 non-profit organization, must have a DUNS number, and must be registered with SAM.GOV. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a decline in revenue and/or a negative economic impact due to periods of closure during the public health emergency (i.e., cost to retain employees, mortgage, rent, utilities, and other operating costs.) The application is available at or may be picked up in the County Judge’s office Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The application period will open on December 1, 2021 and close on December 31, 2021. All applications will be considered and prioritized by the Comanche County American Rescue Plan Committee, which has been appointed by the Comanche County Commissioners Court. The committee will present the applications to the Court for consideration and funding.
