While fans aren't doing the wave in any sports stadium this summer, LEGO Minifigures are in the newly installed 100lb+ LEGO baseball stadium! The new 22,000 LEGO® brick baseball stadium at  LEGOLAND Discovery Center Dallas/Fort Worth mirrors the new local team stadium and recently installed the state-of-the-art animation. Not only are they doing the wave, but the LEGO roof can also open and close, just like the life-size stadium.

Thaddeus Bennett, the Center’s Master Model Builder, was joined by Toby Roworth, a LEGO Animation Technician, to bring the 100lb stadium to life with real LEGO Minifigures doing the wave and making the roof opening and close automatically.
