Another Pow-Wow is in the books here in Comanche. It was a fantastic crowd out at the Comanche City Park last Saturday and Sunday. The combined attendance for both days was over 6,500. There were 22 food vendors and 100 vendor booths set up for people to enjoy.

The free kids events were a big hit and the Gator Country performance was a new event that brought a big crowd as well. The long time events were enjoyed by all as they have been in the past. It was a great mix of new and old events in this year’s pow-wow.

The car show had 137 registered cars, the barbecue cook-off had over 30 entries and the tractor show had 20 tractors. The art and photography exhibit had over an 100 entries.

Tractor and art show winners and other pictures will be placed in next week’s edition.
