The Comanche County Car Show Best of Show went to Shane Wood of Brownwood and his 1967 Chevy stepside. Garry Davis presented the award in memory of his wife, Jan Davis. There were 137 classics participating this year in the show.
The 31st Annual Comanche County Car Club Classic Car Show was held during the Saturday of Comanche Pow Wow at the Comanche City Park. There were over 150 cars between registered participants and the members of the Car Club that were volunteering.
Best of Show went to Shane Wood. Best of Show Car went to Ron Bledekamp, Best of Show Truck went to Frank Carvill and Best of Show Motorcycle went to Ray Pesina.
Top 10 Trucks were Kenneth Reierson, Richard Croker, Joe Martin, Terry Litchy, Steve Edwards, Cliff Jackson, Ronnie Barton, Mark Lindsey, Tony Moore and Larry Reynolds.
Top 15 Cars went to Greg Lancaster, Wally Pawtowskill, Jimmy Shaw, Thomas Rose, Norman Lawson, Jan Banner, Philip Lewis, Charla Bean, Will Senn, Troy Moore, Wayne White, Joel McCready, Lil Rob Lane, Lanny Kellar and Brenda Hamblin.
Largest Club in Colors went to the Heartland Cruisers of Brownwood. Mayor’s Choice went to Felts Terrill. Chief of Police Choice went to Eric Madison.
Judges Choice went to David Goble.
Ladies Choice went to James Kincheloe and Rat Rod Winner was Randy Womack. Longest Distance went to Kathy Estey Lichty who traveled 2300 miles. Auto Tech Award went to Jennifer Robinson. Oldest Car was a 1905 Cadillac shown by Lil Rob Lane. Volunteer Fire Department Award went to Steve Buchanan. Best Volkswagen went to Kaitlyn Hill.
Yougest Driver was Maggie Robinson.
