“I am Timothy Shelton. I am seeking the office of Comanche County Constable. I am a fifth generation resident of Comanche County. I was raised on our family ranch on the south end of the County in the Democrat Community where I currently live.

I have been around law enforcement most my life. My mom and dad were both peace officers and both worked for Comanche County Sheriff’s Office. My grandfather, the late Wayne Red Swindle was sheriff of Comanche County in the 1950s.

I am a 1999 graduate of Mullin High School. I enlisted at the Texas Army National Guard in 2001 where I served twelve years as a Cavalry Scott and a heavy equipment operator. I was called to active duty twice. I served in and also in the Iraq War.

I completed West Central Texas Law Enforcement Academy in 2007. After completion I was hired by Mills County Sheriff’s Office where I was employed until 2012. Since then I was a reserve deputy for Fisher County. I have worked in the oil field, trucking, and mining industries.

I am married to my wife of fifteen years, Jennifer Shelton. We have two sons, Waggoner 14 and Stnyker 7, who attend Zephyr ISD. My wife is a nurse by profession and works part=time at Comanche County Medical Center.

I humbly ask for your support in my endeavor to become your next Comanche County Constable in the upcoming primary election on March 3, 2020.
