Atanacio T. Alejo “Al”, 73, went with his Lord and Savior on October 9, 2021. He was born on November 13, 1947, in Allende Coahuila Mexico

A hard-working man, husband and father, he migrated from his hometown of Villa Union Coahuila in 1968 to the small town of Gustine, Texas where he lived most of his life. A farmer by trade, he quickly found work with the Carsons, before moving on and working for Wayne Adams, who helped him become a United States Citizen in 1988, and Larry Adams from 1978 until 2010.

He found his wife, Frances, in Gustine and they married on December 19, 1992, and soon had two girls to complete his family. He retired in 2010 and he loved being outside, working with animals and collecting tools.

He was raised with eight siblings. He is proceeded in death by his parents Atanacio Alejo and Carmen Trevino Alejo; sisters Marina, Edelia and Maggie; a brother Lionel and a grandchild.

He is succeeded in life by his wife Frances Rogers Alejo of Gustine; daughter Trinadad Alejo Isham and husband Matthew Isham of Brownwood; daughter Cristina Alejo of Gustine; sister Dolores De Mata and husband Porfirio de Mata of Dublin; sister Mace Alejo Trevino and husband Augustine Delgado of Allende, Coahuila; sister Maria Del Rosario “Chayo” Alejo Trevino of Allende, Coahuila; sister Carmen Pena of Villa Union, Coahuila; brother Jose Guadalupe “Lupe” Alejo and wife Maria Alejo of Brownwood; brother Julian Alejo and wife Gloria Alejo of Acuna, Coahuila and countless numbers of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held with Jeter and Son’s Funeral Home in Dallas on October 14, 2021 from 2 to 6pm and on October 15, 2021, at 10 am. A deacon appointed by the funeral home will be officiating the services.
