Crosson

Shirley Ann (Trantham) Crosson, of Comanche, Texas passed away September 25th, 2021 at the age of 74. She was a resident of Comanche Texas for 14 years.

She was the daughter of Daniel C. and Vera M. (Hendricks) Trantham and was born in Kaufman, Texas on January 28, 1947.

She lived with her family in Big Spring, Texas where she graduated from high school. Soon after, she began her career in cosmetology and she worked at Valtai’s Beauty Salon.

She married Jimmy Walter Crosson on April 28th, 1967 in Scurry, Texas. Together they had three children: Kemberly Ann, Jimmy Shayne,and Heather Lynn Crosson.

Shirley Crosson was a selfless and compassionate person whose devotion to family was of the utmost importance throughout her life. She will be missed dearly by those who loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy W.; daughters, Kemberly (husband Trevor) Wardlaw and Heather (husband Darrell) Oden; son, Jimmy Shayne (wife Victoria) Crosson; granddaughters, Holle (Hughes) DelSignore, Brittany, Stephanie and Rebecca Crosson and Tori Wardlaw; grandsons, Patrick and Brett Wardlaw, Landon, Payton and Hunter Oden; Great grandchildren; Liam and Della, also numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Vera Trantham; sisters Linda J. Morris, Juanita S. Smith, C. Joyce Osborn, Charlsie F. Knedlik and a brother, Roy C. Trantham.

Celebration of Life will be held at Comanche Funeral Home at 411 W Grand Avenue, Comanche, Texas 76442 on October 10, 2021 at 11 AM.

Light food to follow at Homestead Hall located in the Comanche Mercantile at 101 N Houston, Comanche, Texas 76442.
