Furlow

Linda Jean Furlow, 57, of Holly Lake Ranch, TX, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday December 20, 2019. Her family celebrated her life 3 p.m. Sunday December 22, 2019 at the Heartland Chapel with Dr. Van Christian officiating, followed with interment at the Downing Cemetery. The family greeted friends at Heartland Funeral Home of Comanche 2:00 – 3:00 prior to service time. Condolences to the family can be left online at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net.

Linda was born September 3, 1962, in Austin TX. Her father and mother are Dub Smith (deceased 2016) and Lucile (Wilhite) Smith. She attended and graduated from San Angelo State with an Associate in Business. Linda and Tommy Furlow were married February 10, 2008, in Granbury, TX. Linda worked as Office Manager of W.D. Vongonten Laboratories, where she retired. She had been baptized at age 9 and was a member of Granbury Baptist Church. Linda enjoyed baking, coloring, being with and taking care of her pets, and spending time with her family. Linda was very patriotic and had a great love for those in the military; her father, Dub, was a Korean Veteran, and her husband, Tommy, is an Iraq and Afghanistan War Veteran.

Linda is survived by husband Tommy Furlow; daughter, Randa Ramirez, son-in-law, Paydon Ramirez, step-daughter, Kristen Furlow; father-in-law, Roger Furlow; brothers and sisters, Barbara Carroll and husband Charles, Trish Foix and husband Orlando; sisters-in-law, Lisa Furlow, Tiffany Box, brother-in-law; Darrel Box; grandchildren, Xaylei Ramirez, Paydon Ramirez, Jr., Isaiah Ramirez, and expected grandchild in August 2020; nieces, Chassidy & Enna Carroll, Chilton & Chilisse Conner; nephews, Ransom, Alek & Nick Carroll, Steven, Jacob, Dante, & Devin Conner. She was preceded in death by daughter Page Posey; father, Jack “Dub” Smith, mother-in-law, Trudy Furlow.
