Roger 0. Harris age 62, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Friday March 5th, 2021. Roger was born on March 2nd, 1959 to Oscar and Chestine Harris, in Bruceton, Tennessee.

The family moved to Comanche in 1966, where Roger graduated Comanche High School in 1977. Roger then attended Tarleton State University, graduating in 1981. Roger built a successful career in the Building Materials Business, working as a Broker for Dallas Wholesale.

Roger loved his family, sports, and the mountains of Colorado, particularly the area around Pagosa Springs. Roger never met a stranger and loved meeting people wherever he went. Roger had a Servant's Heart, often helping those less fortunate, whether it was feeding the homeless or helping financially when needed.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, and his step-father Don Lacy. He is survived by his wife Karen of Cedar Hill, son Jacob Harris and friend Emily of Dallas, and daughter Jessica Franks also of Cedc1r Hill, brother Gary Lacy and wife Judy of Comanche, brother Ralph Harr is and wife Debra of Bastrop, and sister Gina Ricketson of Deer Park, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Roger's life will be held at 2:00 April 2nd at the Ovilla Road Baptist Church, 3251 Ovilla Road, Ovilla, Texas.

Family asks in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to The Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
