Robert Harvey Hurt passed away early Saturday morning, November 30, 2019, at home with the love of his life, Pammie.
On September 12, 1954, he was born at home to J.W. “Red” and Velma Hurt in the Creamer Community of Comanche County, Texas.

He was an exceptional craftsman with woodwork and cabinetry, and was also an avid knife and gun collector. Robert loved music, he enjoyed playing with many friends, whether it was a live performance or sitting in a circle pickin’ and grinnin’. He also had a passion for baking. You could find him sitting at the kitchen table making sweets for any holiday, but especially when it came time for the annual Gustine Homecoming Bake Off.
Robert was a man who would do anything for anyone and would give you the shirt off his back. He was an all around good guy with a huge heart.
