Shame on the Comanche City Council for voting to transfer a major city asset i.e. The Fire Department Building to the Fire Department. I would like to point out a major ethic blunder: the members of the Fire Department should have abstained from voting.

The virus of South Texas politics has infected our city government. In the past, the Fire Department executives claimed that they were a private organization. Let us pray that the Comanche Appraisal District puts this private property on the tax roles.
