Washington, D.C. — Friday, Congressman Mike Conaway (TX-11) released a statement responding to the 2020 Presidential election:

“President Trump is well within his rights to pursue legal action to investigate any and all allegations of voter fraud,” said Congressman Conaway. “Free and fair elections are an essential cornerstone of our republic, and Americans deserve to know that all legal votes were counted, while any illegal votes were not. If cases of fraud did occur, it is in America’s best interest to bring any evidence of wrongdoing to light and hold those who are responsible accountable for their actions. Anyone who supports election integrity should not impede these investigations, but instead encourage them to move forward and restore the confidence of the voters.”
