Just yesterday Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, and House Speaker Dennis Bonnen released a major property tax reform proposal that would place taxpayers in the driver’s seat on tax increases.

This legislation is even stronger than the one proposed last session, but taxpayer-funded lobbyists, Democrats, and other big-government cronies are organizing to try and scuttle the bill.

We’re calling on taxpayers across the state to come down to Austin this coming Wednesday, February 6th, where Chairman Paul Bettencourt will be hearing the bill in the Senate Property Tax Committee. If you can make it, please come to the Texas Capitol and tell lawmakers they must stand strong and provide property tax reform to Texans.
