The CHS Maidens took 1st place in the Regional Power Lifting Championship Meet. And 4 individuals qualified for state: Gracie Jaramillo- 1st Place in 97’s division, Camden Foley- 1st Place in 105’s division, Lanie Lawrence- 2nd Place in 220’s division and  Mya Victoria- 2nd Place in 181’s division.

The City of Comanche will have contested races for Mayor and City Council positions.

The Comanche ISD school board will be uncontested for this election term.

The Comanche County Consolidated Hospital District Board of Directors will have one contested place and another place will be uncontested.

The Sidney ISD had an election in November of 2022 and that filled the positions for this term.

We are waiting to see if an election will be held in Gustine, Texas for the school board or city council.
