The Maiden volleyball team fell to Brock for the Area Championship in Stephenville on Thursday, November 1.
The Comanche 8th grade Warriors beat Brady 34-6 here last Thursday.
The Comanche freshmen Indians fell to the Eastland Mavericks 10 – 14 last Thursday. They came out strong with an offensive drive that took up the entire first quarter. That drive was capped off by a Jorge Rios 25-yard field goal.
The Comanche Junior High football combo team had a big win over Brady’s combo with a score of 28 -0.
The Comanche Indian freshman football team under the direction of Coaches Whitt, Huddleston and Talley traveled to Eastland on Thursday night to take on the Mavericks. This game ended up being a defensive battle. Neither team managed to put any points on the board in the first half.
The Comanche High School Cross Country Team ran competed in Eastland on Monday, September 25. Varsity Boys team took 5th place. Individual results were Marco Ramirez- 8th (19:22) Aaron Barnett- 27th (22:13) Yancy Perkins- 35th (24.06) and Jonathan Campos- 39th (26.23.)

The Sidney Eagles played Blanket last week and got beat 51-22. The game was scheduled for Friday but was moved to Thursday due to shortage of referees. In the first quarter, both teams had six points. In the second quarter, Sidney added two points, but Blanket tallied 22 points. In the third quarter, Sidney didn’t score and Blanket added 15. In the fourth quarter, both teams had 8 points. Final score was Blanket 51, Sidney 22. Sidney stats are as follows: Josh Kinard 8 tackles; Triston Kelly 4 tackles; Austin Barrow 2.5 tackles and 2 fumble recoveries; Dennis Morales 8.5 tackles; Jordan Scheriger 6 tackles; Shadan Cheatham 1 tackle; and Elijah Davis .5 tackles.
